One of the big themes that has been coming up for people over the past week or two — and this has been highlighted by world events and our focus on them — is the dance between light and dark. In the last few years, it feels that this has been one of our themes on Earth — this rising of consciousness, and (in tandem with that) a rising of fear.
Fear vs. love.
Fear has been very strong and very reactive recently. And what this tends to do is bring up conflict energy between people. It can bring up crackles of energy where arguments fire off or misunderstandings happen because our levels of anxiety are a lot higher. When we go into an anxious state, we tend to separate more. We pull more into ourselves, into our own story, into our own stuff. Or, we use that anxiety to ping pong off of and react to other people.
THE ACCEPTANCE THAT LEADS TO PEACE
One of the things you can do and focus on during this time is to recognize if you haven’t yet accepted that there is dark and light on the planet in equal measure. This is a good time to get in contact with that because it’s not going to go away. The energies we’re seeing now are going to continue for quite a few years in terms of how tumultuous things are on Earth.
You have the opportunity now to make peace with the fact that the dark and the light — inside you and outside you — is going to be there. Accept that it’s there. Get in touch with the feelings inside you that are uncomfortable with that and just let them be there for a while.
Also, be mindful of when you’re overstimulated when around other people and whether or not you’re reacting off other people. For example, the thing that social media often reveals, when we look at it, is you see how many are arguing with each other, disagreeing with each other, playing the “right and wrong” game. That very separation — that very act of war — is what so many people are annoyed about when they’re looking at politics, when they’re looking at the war situation in the world — people bombing each other and blowing each other up.
As outside, so inside.
So, for those of you who are sensitive — who are conscious, who are awake, who are noticing the movements inside yourself (psychologically, emotionally, spiritually) — there ARE layers and layers in movement right now. As always, the important thing to focus on is self-care first. It doesn’t mean you ignore the needs of other people, but it means you look after this inner core of you.
On some days, that is going to mean just being with yourself in your own debris — the parts of you that are uncomfortable, the parts of you that have been abandoned for a while. That’s very much a theme that is going on for all of us: this rising to the surface of that which has perhaps been ignored or suppressed.
When this happens — when we go through these layers, as many of you will be experiencing — we get to have the effortlessness of connection, higher moments, synchronicities, and feeling really heart-open with each other. And this is important because we only have one life. Yes, we have many lives as a soul, but as a human being, what we know is that we have this one life that we’re conscious of right now. And this is a very specific, unusual, incredible, difficult time to be alive, depending on your perspective.
It’s certainly ALIVE out there, and what is happening for so many of us is we’re becoming alive “in here” in response to that [Lee points toward his heart, signifying becoming alive within our own inner being].
