Are you paying for your Portal membership with PayPal? If yes, read on. If you're paying with a debit or credit card, you can ignore this message.  

We are in the process of moving Lee Harris Energy from a UK-based company to a US-based company and that process will be completed on July 1, 2019.  

Unfortunately, that means our current PayPal business account will be terminated on June 30, 2019 and we have to link to a new US-based PayPal account on July 1st. If you are paying for your Portal subscription via PayPal, this means your subscription will be terminated on that day and you will lose access to any of the monthly mp3's that you've collected from your Portal membership in your Library. We understand that this is a major disruption and it's something we've tried everything to avoid, but because of PayPal's international policy, there is no way to transfer you over to our new PayPal account without terminating your subscription.

We are very sorry for this situation, but we've spelled out how you can proceed below with minimal interruption.

In order to make up for the inconvenience, when you re-register for The Portal on July 1st (or any time during July), you'll have a full month of membership before you are charged.  

"So what do I need to do?"  

1. If you're unsure about whether you're paying for The Portal via PayPal or Credit Card, see the point directly below this one to determine your method of payment.
2. If you are paying with PayPal, you'll want to download any of the monthly mp3's that you've collected from your Portal membership (that you wish to keep) to your computer before June 30th so you don't lose them. We've written out step-by-step instructions on how to do this in one of the points below.
3. When July 1st rolls around, those who were paying with PayPal will need to re-register for The Portal right (directions below) for the same rate you were paying previously...and you'll be granted one month of membership before you are charged. To be clear, you will need to enter either your credit card information or PayPal information when re-registering during the month of July, but you won't be charged for 30 days and should you choose to cancel during that period - you will not be charged.

Again, we're so sorry for this inconvenience. We hope you understand that we tried everything possible to avoid it. It's an unfortunate policy by PayPal that they do not let us transfer our website account from the UK to the US.   We look forward to continuing to provide new and exciting content for Portal members every month. We really feel that this community is the heart and soul of Lee Harris Energy. We hope you will stick with us.

1. Go to https://www.paypal.com/signin and login to your account.
2. Look through your recent activity and see if you see a recurring monthly payment to Lee Harris Energy for the same amount each month on or around the same day each month. If so, it's likely your monthly Portal membership subscription fee which means you're paying via PayPal.
3. To be 100% sure, you can login to The Portal HERE on July 1st or later and if you're denied access to The Portal, that means you were paying with PayPal and your membership was terminated due to this PayPal change.

Remember to wait until July 1st to re-register. Otherwise, you'll be told that you already own a Portal subscription.
